Male Call

Eve Carmichael is about to celebrate her thirtieth birthday, and according to her best friend, she needs to do this at a club called Male Call. Male Call is an exclusive downtown club that caters to all women who want to watch male strippers. Eve’s best friend, Chesney, has decided that will be perfect way for them to spend her birthday night. Eve’s only problem is that she has someone else on her mind, someone that she has been writing to while he is in Iraq at war. This is the person that she wants to see strip for her when he comes home. She just hopes that he feels the same way.

Sean O’Callahan has been at war in Iraq with his Army reserve unit as a software engineer. He also works with Eve, and when she suggested that they write to each other while he was away, he was thrilled at the idea. He has had feelings for Eve for a while but they were just friends and he didn’t want to overstep those friendship bounds. After writing to her for six months, he now knows that she has at least some of the same feelings for him as well. He knows that her birthday is coming and he has something very special planned for her.

I loved this book!! The letters were such a turn on and such a huge part of the story. I really felt like I got to know Eve and Sean through reading their letters to each other. It was also a bit like reading an old fashioned love story in the way that the letters brought these two together. It also made me extra grateful for the men and women here in the United States of America and everywhere else that may be serving God and country. I cannot say enough good things about this story and recommend that everyone should take a few minutes to enjoy Ms. Agnew’s Male Call.
