Susanna’s Seduction
Susanna Brennon was asked by her brother’s soon to be bride to be the maid of honor at their wedding. In helping her out she went to the restaurant, Piccoli’s, where the rehearsal dinner would be held to straighten out the menu selections. She meets the manager, Michael, who looks like an Italian god, and ends up with a date for the rehearsal dinner. At the dinner she finds out that he is not the manager but is the owner of the restaurant. Michael Piccoli is a great guy that she is quickly finding out that she could fall for in a heartbeat. He makes her feel very special in all that he says and does. Susanna’s problem is that everyone that she has every loved has left her, and she is afraid to fall in love. Michael wants more than fooling around but will Susanna let herself love him or will she let him go to save herself from the heartbreak?
From the minute that Michael touches Susanna he knows that there is something special about her. She makes him feel things that he has never felt for another woman before, and he wants the opportunity to explore those feelings with her. It only takes a couple of dates for him to be fully captured by her. She is beautiful, sexy and smart, and he fully intends to capture her heart and her mind, if she will give him the opportunity before running away from him?
I fell in love with Michael right from the beginning of this book. There is something about him that drew me into his character. He is very trustworthy, loyal and of course sexy as all get out. Michael and Susanna really connect in this story. In a lot of romances the guy is so worried about not falling for the woman that you do not like him because you know how the story will go; this one is not like that at all. Susanna fights on this one more so than Michael does. If you like a story where both people feel the story then I’d advise you to read this story. Patrice Michelle does a fantastic job of bringing these two together.
