But this vampire is different; he has honor and control that cause him to be taunted by his very own brother. When the end comes, can she peacefully go on, or will she be kept alive indefinitely in one beast’s goal to punish his brother?

A heart-wrenching tale that was so terribly sad yet also so very touching in its simplicity, Tempting Darkness continues the tales of the Templar Knights, this time focusing on Lucien. We get to see the rest of the Templars and their mates, and I found myself tearing up often times completely out of the blue. The emotions that both Jessie and Lucian go through are truly hard to see, and are fantastically written. I cannot wait for the next book in the series, and I KNOW I will be sad to bid these fabulous warriors adieu.
