Tempting Fate by Eva Gale

Abigail Drummond’s mother is a Romany fortune teller, and she has trained her daughters in the same profession. At a social function, Abby tells Mr. Caden Dupree his fortune and incites his desires.

This was my favorite story of the anthology. Ms. Gale brings Abby and Caden to life. They are complex characters and feel like real people. The reader feels empathy for both of them. It goes without saying the eroticism is set on high!!! Wow – these two sizzle in and out of bed.

Flesh and Bone by Selah March

Leah Benjamin teaches English which includes coverage of the Marquis de Sade, but she is getting visions of a detective being tortured. She tries to save Marcus from his prison and finds her own hero.

This is definitely not a story for the faint of heart! Leah and Marcus spend some harrowing time together, but whether it is a love connection or not, only time will tell. This is a fast paced and action-packed story that will set your heart racing.

Miranda Writes by Cassidy Kent

Miranda is a romance author. Matthew believes she is part of a counterfeit ring that he is trying to smash. Miranda finds herself ensnared with Matthew and his surveillance.

A great ending to this anthology as Ms. Kent’s story will keep the readers on their toes as we follow Miranda and Matthew on their journey. It has great action, dialogue and some very hot sex!

Fortune’s Fool has four strong stories filled with great characters and storylines that will take the reader on a sexual journey! This anthology will give a taste of what these authors have to offer, and this reader would love to read more of their creations! Fortune’s Fool contains four novellas that is worthy of its price tag.
