In Japan, Imai Shimizu, the lead singer in ChildsPrey, isn’t the greatest patient, to say the least. Anyone unfortunate enough to take any of the positions quit soon afterwards. Imai has been in a terrible mood ever since he was injured and his friends haven’t a clue what to do to keep him in control until he is better.

In Los Angeles, Kim Donovan has taken a temporary job as a stylist for Imai. Kim has no idea who he is, but her teenage daughter Mandy is a excited about the idea of not only visiting Japan, but also meeting her idols ChildsPrey. Once Kim arrives in Japan, she learns that the job is far more than she thought at first. She has a Nursing license and they ask her to not only be his stylist, but nurse as well. Kim’s first sight of Imai almost blows her away. He is the most beautiful man she has ever seen, but she quickly realizes that he is possibly one of the most aggravating men she has ever met. Imai, for his part, is impressed in that Kim doesn’t back down to him and even when he plays a joke on her, she stands her ground. Imai’s joke back fires when he begins to see Kim in a new light. Will Kim and Imai find common ground and is their love strong enough to with stand all the crazy and dangerous situations that go along with being rock stars?

Ms. Sheridan and Ms. Cain have once again created another phenomenal edition to the ChildsPrey series. Imai is, what you would think, your typical self centered rock star, but in reality he is a very caring man who does at times act childish- on him it is cute!! Imai is a very complicated man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to fight for what he wants. Kim has had to stand up for herself and not be afraid speak her mind. The two of them at first appear to be completely different, but they really want the same things- to be loved for themselves. Add to this, one teenager and a love crazed fan and you have a fast moving story that grips the readers to the bitter end. Follow ChildPrey in all the crazy situations they get into and how together they manage to overcome them with brotherhood, friendship and most importantly love.
