Covet

Jenny has never been denied anything before, but Tyrone Holt seems unattainable. Sexy, gorgeous Tyrone in her bed is all that she wants and she intends to have him. When the opportunity presents itself, Jenny jumps at the chance to bed Tyrone. Being with Tyrone comes with limitations, he wants a physical relationship with no emotional demands. Jenny agrees but cannot help still coveting Tyrone, having been with him once she wants and needs more. Falling in love was not part of the plan and Jenny wonders what will come of her situation with Tyrone.

Tyrone Holt is used to having anyone he wants. And right now he wants a relationship with Jenny. Telling her how their relationship will be from the first, Tyrone does not want Jenny making emotional demands on him. He never expects to want emotional ties. Delving into an intense sexual relationship with Jenny shows him that he wants more from the elusive woman. When Jenny pulls away from him, Tyrone realizes that his wants may not come first.

Karen Erickson’s Covet is an erotic thrill from beginning to end. Jenny and Tyrone are dynamic characters that the reader will be able to relate to. Neither is willing to accept or settle for a relationship they do not want. While the physical relationship is intense, the two are unable to stop the emotional bonds that bind them together. I enjoyed that while Jenny and Tyrone came from different backgrounds they were able to find common ground.
