Paula just could not get excited for her sister’s upcoming nuptials. She is happy for Paris and Nathan, the groom, but does not understand why they need such a large expensive event for their wedding. Why couldn’t they just do something nice and simple? Paula cannot help but notice the gorgeous man who had all the physical attributes she liked. Unable to control her reaction to Markus, Paula is a hurt that he is able to just keep disappearing. When Markus reveals a secret to her, Paula realizes that she loves him.

Markus, the god of matrimony, has been called to help a man marry the love of his life. People just do no want to get married anymore so therefore Markus is not often called on much. Bored with what is going on around him, Markus is taken aback by his reaction to a fellow partygoer. Paula is everything he wants and desires, but doubts that she will be able to accept who he is.

Taige Crenshaw’s Seducing a God is an erotic ride from the first meeting of Paula and Markus. The sexual chemistry between the two will not be denied nor will their emotional bond. Paula and Markus are characters that will not soon be forgotten. The pair both want to experience a loving, lasting relationship but have fallen short in their attempts. I enjoyed that while Paula and members of her family were not pro-marriage, they were each waiting for a great love to show how satisfying marriage could be.
