Blake is complex character that is very well written, draws readers in, and refuses to let them go. Brenna is an amazing character that readers will instantly love. With a plot laced with danger, suspense, mysterious blue stones and passion, this is a story readers will not want to miss. Dark Defender can very definitely be a stand alone book but this reader has no idea how anyone could only read one in this series. Each story does a wonderful job of weaving a paranormal world that is both unique and addictive. This reader is absolutely hooked, unable to pull herself from the pages until the very last one, and impatiently waiting for the next story. 5 Angels & Recommended Read!
