It has been thousands of years since Katherine Polanski and Hadden Robertson have been together. Being that they’re dead, of course, and it’s their mission to reunite their souls back to one another. The problem is that each time they try they fail in getting reunited, however this Halloween might be different.

Kara Piersen has always loved Halloween and the thrill of spooky houses but the Polanski mansion is one house that she never wanted to stay in. The reason for that is because two lovers were murdered in their bed and rumors say they roam around the mansion looking for release to avenge their murder. The problem is that she has to stay there one night with a stranger that looks like the mystery lover that makes her come each night making her feel desirable. Can dreams become reality or is it just coincidence that she meets Hayden Roberts who makes her feel desirable like her mystery lover does in her dreams?

Hayden Roberts knows there’s something about Kara that reminds him of someone but he can’t place his finger on it. Like Kara he has been having unusual dreams of a woman that makes him feel like a teenager being with a woman for the first time all randy and yes sexual. He feels something for Kara but before he can make a move on her they must overcome one night in this haunted house. The question is it haunted or just two lost loves looking for the peace they deserve to be one another? Can Hayden prove to Kara they belong to one another?

Wow, Karen Erickson did such a beautiful job in such a short story I wanted more of it. She creates such mystery with Katherine and Hadden then leaves you panting with a gorgeous guy like Hayden to the point where you wish it were longer than just 56 pages. I liked the fact that she introduces us to Katherine and Hadden and their story but more than that you have two characters that are not only strangers but still feel the sexual attraction in the air. It may be short but once you start reading it you are going to be like wow where does she get her imagination for this story. It has it all from romance, mystery, a villain to even the sexual chemistry from the first page. Great job.
