Miki Kendrick is one of the meanest women Conall Víga-Feilan has ever encountered and he wants her so bad he can taste her. From the minute they met he has been intrigued by her. She’s smart, she has a foul mouth, when needed, and is so freaking smart he’s scared to death of her. He has spent the first weeks getting to know her, and he knows that since her best friend is now his pack leader he will be seeing her again; and he definitely has plans for the second-time around meetings.

Miki is a genius and she has been born and raised not to trust men. Her father ran off on her sixteen-year-old mother who in turn left her mother and grandmother to raise Miki. She has never believed in men and sees no reason to trust Conall, even though he’s gorgeous, funny and puts up with the crap she dishes out; and she can definitely dish it out.

Shelly Laurenston is an absolute genius. Miki was something that I think a lot of women would love to be; funny, speak now and think later, and will kick your ass before she thinks about it. From the beginning to the end there is constant action, adventure and a whole lot of spontaneity. The very first time that I read a Shelly Laurenston book I fell in love with her style and I knew this book would not disappoint. If you have not read this book I would suggest reading Pack Challenge. It is the book that comes before this one and will tie together all of these characters. Ms. Larentston you get a 5 angel review, along with a Recommended Read and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
