Flight of the Sparrows

Flight of the Sparrows by Laura Baumbach in an action/adventure story that grabs a hold of the audience from the start.

Quillan Tarquin, or Quill to his friends, is a computer geek of the highest magnitude. He can do things with a computer that most people could never even dream of, but this doesn’t help him any with his present time living situation. Quill is living with Kevin and Liam who are trying to make it any way that they can, but they run across some information that Quill obtained illegally that could either make or break them. Quill has a very high IQ and when he realizes the magnitude of what he stole, he tried to get rid of it, but it was too late.

On the other side of the law, they realize that they have been hacked and are quickly narrowing the field to find the culprits, but two factions within the group have completely different takes on how to deal with the situation. Then Colonel Daniel Burke and his special forces group join the hunt, and when Quill’s group and the law meetings spiral out of control, the lines between the good and the bad guys become unrecognizable. Who will Quill find to help him and will he even accept any help?

Once again, Ms. Baumbach has created a unique and unusual story that will engage the readers imagination and hold them spell bound from the start. Quill is on the surface a brash and obnoxious young man, but underneath he is just looking for somewhere to belong. Daniel is a confident man who has many surprises in store for him that he never imagined. Add to this a plot line that keeps the reader in suspense from the start, and you have a book that the will be a keeper in anyones library. Thanks goes to Ms. Baumbach for such a great story.
