Three Swords One Heart by N.J. Walters is the first Torrid Tarot issued by Ellora’s Cave I have read, and I have to say they will be on my auto buy. This was a wonderful fantasy of a warrior woman abandoned by her tribe because she didn’t follow the normal behaviors of a woman of her time. Two twin warrior brothers cursed because of an evil and ignorant ancestor’s prior bad act must meet and find the one who will love them. Because of their curse they must be nomads, roaming always, searching always for the one who can lift the curse. Zarina must overcome her doubt in her feminine attractions to be all she is. The twin’s mirror images of each other, Malik and Kalis realize they cannot force her emotions she must come to them of her own accord. Will the curse end in their lifetime? Is she the right woman for them?

I loved Three Swords One Heart; N. J. Walters has written a story that captured me from the first page. Zarina is strong and independent while the twins are definitely tall, dark and handsome. They realize what a gift they have been given in just finding her and their actions speak highly of the kind of men they are. I will be checking out other N. J. Walters books, this one is definitely a keeper.
