Aiden and Ky- Tales of the Shareem

Brianne is horrified when she finds out that her guards have arrested two Shareem, men genetically created for a woman’s pleasure, on her behalf. She saves them just before their execution, and she wants to make amends for the wrong that was committed against the two sexy men. She agrees to meet with them in order to discuss some type of recompense. However, Aiden and Ky have other plans. From the moment the sensual Aiden sees Brianne in the coffee shop, he knows he and his best friend Ky have to have her together.

But even as Aiden and Ky are teaching the innocent Brianne about what it means to submit, Brianne is forging a connection of sensuality between the two sexy men and awakening demons in Ky’s past that are better left alone.

Allyson James is one author that I try to buy whenever she comes out with something new. Her Tales of the Shareem series is a joy to read, and not only for the sex - which is hot. What I like most about the series is that the men really care about and for the woman. Some stories feel like the plot and the sex are two separate entities, yet in Ms. James’ stories, the sex is an extension of the relationship that the people are building. That isn’t to say it’s touchy feely. Sex between her characters is loud and messy, but it is also filled with laughter and discovery. In a world where the women are sexually repressed, Ms. James is able to capture what it feels like to discover that sex can be fun and intimate and loving.

Aiden and Ky is a new take on Ms. James’ stories. While her stories often have threesomes as part of the female’s sexual awakening, this time she investigates what it is like to make that threesome into a functioning relationship. Added to that is Ky’s natural wariness of taking on a male lover, and you’ve got a story that has you turning the pages as you root for your favorite sexy Shareem.

The other thing that Allyson James adds to the story is more world developing, and the introduction of new characters that are both exciting and mysterious. We get to see what other Shareem lifestyles are out there, and get to revisit some of the other characters from previous stories.

For a thrilling plot, well developed characters and relationships, I give this story five out of five.
