Edgar Armstrong, Earl of Callander suffers from a debilitating disease. He decides to marry Emily Sinclair to produce an heir to prevent the earldom passing onto his nephew. With no success on their own and realizing that his illness is genetic, they approach Angus MacNeill with the proposition of being the sperm donor for their future child. Angus is taken aback by the offer but he can’t help being attracted to Emily.

Anchor and Storm will take the reader on an emotional rollercoaster. Edgar and Emily love and respect each other. The reader is well aware of the depth of their feelings for each other. The addition of a third person to the relationship adds a new dimension to the story. The author does a fabulous job of creating their characters and developing them fully. The love that is experienced between Edgar, Emily and Angus makes this story soar. The reader can’t help but fall in love with all of them. The reader is privy to their thoughts and desires thus we get to know them very well. The eroticism between them is just an extra for the reader. The sexual action is intense and arousing. The author pulls the reader in and doesn’t let go until the last page.

With three lead characters, Anchor and Storm is a thoughtful and highly erotic historical romance. The reader becomes entrenched in this story as it progresses. We want to know what happens to Emily, Edgar and Angus and the author does a wonderful job of resolving the story. This was a very satisfying read!!
