The Brotherhood 12: Believe It or Not by Willa Okati is the second to last book it this incredible series.

The Amour Magique is the hot spot in Charleston for the male gay scene and Liam, a member of the Brotherhood and an incubus, managed to get one night passes for all the members. Liam’s desire is to find love matches for all of the members who were done terribly wrong by their past lovers.

Liam has managed to find matches for all but one of the members, and Harrison looks to be the most difficult one of the bunch. Harrison’s past lover not only vanished without a trace after cashing in funds they were saving, taking his belief in love and magic. Liam decides to pull in the big guns and ask his mother Lilith for help, but the assistance she gives him goes way beyond even Liam’s knowledge. While Liam was assisting the other Brother’s find love, he was also angering some very powerful otherworldly beings that don’t take losing their toys very well.

Harrison has been riddled with terrible, scary dreams that once he is awake are all but forgotten except for the feeling of doom and loss that happens over and over again until he meets someone who helps him. In real life Harrison has been emailing a strange and very suggestive man named Martin who, if he has his way, will get to know Harrison in a more biblical sense. Martin is the Amour Magique’s magician and has decided that he wants Harrison. What Martin wants Martin gets and he is determined it will be to their mutual delight. The Amour Magique is much more than it seems and Harrison will learn that there is more magic in the world than he ever thought. Will Martin find a way to get his man? Will Liam finally succeed in his quest to find love for every member of the Brotherhood?

Ms. Okati has once again fashioned another captivating and riveting addition to The Brotherhood series. The characters of Martin and Harrison leap from the pages as they argue and dance around each other until they come together is a scene the almost lights the book on fire. Harrison must learn that magic can in many forms to not only help, but can delight the senses. Martin may be older than he looks ,but he has a few things to learn from Harrison about trust. Liam is once again the master matchmaker who may have his own problems to attend after he finishes his quest. Add to this a magical cat, who in reality isn’t a cat at all, but someone who is determined to help a friend in need. Together you have an action packed book that is an incredible addition to The Brotherhood series. I for one can’t wait to read the final book that wraps up Liam’s story and ends the series!
