Sex & the Immortal Bad Boy

Paige Darlington is the apprentice to Becca Gibbs, Satan's former right hand. She suddenly finds herself in a strange dilemma. Her touch is poison to anyone with even a glimmer of good in them, and when she touches them, they explode into a cloud of dust causing an inner demon to rise inside her. No longer able to touch her friends, she must find a way to subdue the demon and return to normal even if it means finding an angel to save her, or jumping into the cleansing waters inside the gates of heaven. But solving her predicament by herself is not an easy task. Becca is on a long vacation, and her two closest friends, Dani and Theresa, are afraid of her, especially after Theresa's arm turns to dust after contact with Paige.

Jed Buchanan is Satan Jr.'s assassin, and he is damned. In an attempt to save his brother from torture at Satan Jr.'s hand, he agrees to kill Becca. He arrives at Becca's apartment, and attacks Paige instead. When Paige realizes that Jed is able to touch her without exploding or turning into dust, she hires him to give her the touch she craves and to keep her safe from herself. Her inner demon is becoming stronger and forcing Paige to kill. Once Jed agrees to help her, he is finding it harder and harder to keep his hands to himself. The attraction between them grows stronger, but they know that if they have sex, Paige's inner demon will feed off of Jed's damned soul. In a race to sneak Paige past the pearly gates before the demon consumes Paige completely, they are thrown between Satan himself and Satan Jr. who are battling for control over Paige's demon. Paige and Jed will take you on a journey through heaven and hell, to discover truth, loyalty and love.

Sex & the Immortal Bad Boywas a great story. This is the first book by Stephanie Rowe I have read. Jed Buchanan was one hot, damned man, and Paige Darlington was a sexy woman on a mission. These two were put through their paces every step of the way, and took me along for the ride. There have not been many books that have captured me from start to finish, but I found myself picking this book up over and over again until I had read it from cover to cover. Stephanie Rowe's characters were heart-warming, exciting, enchanting and captivating. The story was well-written and easy to follow without having read the three previous installments. Sex & the Immortal Bad Boy has sold me on Stephanie Rowe, and I hope to read more of her books in the future.
