Tinsel & Takeovers

What would you do if you needed a boyfriend for a Christmas family gathering? Especially when you told your crazy family that you have one. In Tinsel & Takeovers, Sage Taggart found herself in such a predicament. As a workaholic, she didn't have time for a boyfriend, or for the dating it took to get one. Her friend Rosie has the answer…hire a professional escort. So Sage does just that. Scheduled to meet Evan Francis at the airport, Sage isn't aware that the man who shows up, Jesse Francis, is not the escort she hired. He is Evan's older brother. Not only that, he is the man planning to buy her company and put her out of business.

When Jesse decides to step in for his brother at the last minute, he does it to find out about Sage's floundering company. Sage has a reputation for being merciless and ruling her company with an iron fist, but the woman Jesse meets and spends time with is a totally different woman. Sage is warm, fun, and loving. She is also beautiful, sexy, and a woman he can't seem to resist. Passion flares between them, and the more time Jesse spends with Sage, the more he feels for the woman he is deceiving. What will happen when Sage discovers who he is and what he plans to do?

J.T. Schultz has written a funny, sexy, enjoyable story. Tinsel & Takeovers has it all. A hero and heroine who can't keep their hands off each other, a mistaken identity, and a wacky family all mixed together over the Christmas holidays. There were many laugh-out-loud moments, like when Sage's mother puts her "moves" on Jesse, and he attempts to get away. Or, when Sage and Jesse bump into his former "clients." A dysfunctional family such as hers makes for an interesting story, and there was never a dull moment. The heat generated between Sage and Jesse was hot enough to melt the snow for miles around. The sex was erotic, stimulating and very sensual. These two were definitely made for each other. I wonder what would happen if Evan Francis were to find such a woman. Maybe there is a story in the future…
