Abby Myers is stuck in a rut. Her life is her work, and after hours she entertains herself by watching the parade of women that pass through her hunky next door neighbor’s apartment door. When her younger sister unexpectedly announces her engagement, Abby is compelled to make some changes. The upcoming nuptials only serve to illuminate in Abby’s mind the fact that she hasn’t had a date in, well, forever. She knows precisely what she wants for her upcoming birthday…a lover.

Jordan Ross has a jaded view on commitment. His past has taught him that nothing good can come of marriage, so he is perfectly content to live the life of the consummate bachelor—dating countless women with no strings attached. He finds himself in a prickly position when his friend and neighbor poses a very unusual request. She wants him to find her a lover. There is a catch, though. This man must be open to commitment because one night stands are not for her.

As Jordan attempts to grant Abby’s request, he discovers he would like to be in the running himself…if only it weren’t for that commitment thing. When she pushes the boundaries of their friendship even further by requesting his expert advice on seduction, he obliges her, only to find himself facing emotions he swore would never enter his heart. Can he be the man to give her everything she needs?

A Date for Love by Robbie Terman is an entertaining read filled with interesting characters and turn-the-page sexual tension. It was fun to watch the hero’s fall into love as the story unfolded. The author did a great job of expressing Jordan’s angst in being the matchmaker to a woman who he ultimately wanted for himself. The story flowed well from the beginning to the satisfying ending. I will be watching for more releases by Miss Terman.
