Accidentally Yours

Kerri Sullivan is a single mother, desperate to find a cure for her son’s progressive and ultimately fatal illness. Thus far, her son Cody has been lucky in that he has lived longer than most sufferers, but even with her faith deep down she knows that unless a cure can be found, all is lost. Cody is the centre of her life. He is everything to her, and she will do anything to save him. Even accost billionaire Nathan King and blackmail him into funding a cure for the disease.

Nathan knows intimately what Kerri and her son are going through. He and his own son went through the same thing, only Nathan lost his faith and his son died. He no longer lets anyone close; the emotional pain at their loss would be too hard to bear. His professional life became his focus, which is extremely successful. He came from nothing and is on the verge of achieving everything – as long as he does not get any negative publicity. Kerri and Nathan strike a deal, but even with Kerri working to improve his image, there are those who would see him destroyed, including his sister. This he knew, but he did not realize it is impossible to stop yourself for coming to care, to love. But what are Keri’s feelings for and towards him?

Accidentally Yours is a heartrending tale, one that will grip you and have you entirely involved in the story. The characters are so well developed, you feel as if you know them. You will go through their emotions with them, the good and the bad. At times, it will be hard not to cry. At others, a smile will tilt your mouth. Anyone watching you will conceive a moving picture of the story from your face. Kerri has had to put on a brave face for her son through the years of his illness. She has come up with wonderful ideas to buoy her son and she has made him the focus of her life. Her belief in her faith that he will be OK, that if she sacrifices her life for his, is saddening, gripping, excellently depicted and all too believable. Nathan is a man who has gone through much hardship and as a result has become a ruthless business entrepreneur with seemingly no vulnerabilities. He is stunned at the audacity of Kerri, yet he is also intrigued. The sparks between them are enough to light a fire, in them and in you. The chemistry between them is very well built up and Nathan’s uncertainty over the genuineness of Kerri’s attraction is very touching. Sex is very well described, vanilla in content and superbly satisfying for all. Accidentally Yours is a fabulous tale, one which I highly recommend!
