Vincent Marcelli has never been able to not solve a case until now. The former LAPD officer, now turned Private Investigator, usually had cases of insurance fraud or a husband and wife infidelity problems, but this kidnapping case had him baffled. After Tommy Scott was kidnapped by his nanny two months ago, even the police had no new leads. He hated the thought of calling upon that psychic that helped the police on some cases. Vincent thought she was nothing but a crook. Turning to an old hag and psychotic crackpot was against his principles but he is desperate. The minute he meets Julie, he is knocked for a loop, almost rendered mute by her lovely appearance. She is nothing he imagined. Julie Simmons’ job consumes most of her time. When she is not doing readings, she teaches a parapsychology class at the local junior college. Her readings have a tendency of taking a lot out of her, and the traumatic ones really drain her. She has no time for romance, and after men learn her profession, they don’t care much that she can read minds. After called upon to help on a case, she assures Vincent they will be able to find the kidnapped boy. He lets her know there is no, ‘we.’ It took all his pride to ask for her assistance. Not only that, she is doing things to his insides he never felt with any female. All he wants is a reading then she can leave. He will not subject her to any danger. The word no, is not in her vocabulary. As they plunge in to find Tommy, not only does the case grow intense but their on-growing passion really turns heated.

Invisible Evidence is an electrifying read from the first to the last page. The chemistry between Vincent and Julie had this reader rapidly flipping the pages. Vincent is one hot Italian that sizzles. I love the fact that Julie is strong and doesn’t let him get the better of her. Sparks sizzle between them and really ignite. I totally loved every minute they are together. Kelly Wallace does a magnificent job in creating two convincing characters, a wonderful plot, and a delicious romance that is absolutely charming. The fact that Julie already knows what is going on in Vincent’s mind and has him sort of squirming in his seat is delightful. This reader could almost see the expressions on both their faces when they are in a conversation. I just fell in love with the whole premise of this tantalizing tale that makes one recommended read.
