Going Down

Sarah Hartman knows all about playboy office Romeo, Ian Shane and how he hits on the women in the office and then never returns their calls after a date. Her friend told her that’s how he had done several of the women in the office. Now, she blames nothing but bad luck that has her getting into the office elevator with him at ten o’clock at night. Ian starts out by attempting to make casual conversation, but she lets him know that she is not interested in the games that he plays with his playmates. He seems confused by her words and can’t believe that people in the office talk about him that way.

Ian is a salesman and is gone out of town several days a weeks and just can’t believe that the women who he has turned down when they have asked him out on dates have started these rumors. The only person in the office that he has been attracted to is Sarah Hartman. When the lights go out in the elevator and they are stuck, Ian decides to take a chance with Sarah to see if she feels the connection that he feels for her. She is very upset that she gives into her passion that he arouses in her and when the elevator door opens she flees to her home. Ian doesn’t think that they will be seeing each other again, but Sarah discovers some very interesting things that she has to share with Ian when he returns. How he will take the news will determine how their relationship goes.

This was a very hot book. I liked the fact that Ian had no clue what Sarah was talking about when she accused him of being the office playboy. He almost seemed to be shy and that thoroughly made me like the story more. Ian is the perfect gentleman in the elevator and tries to get Sarah to talk about the things that she likes to do. When her dominate personality comes through he’s blown away and very, very intrigued by the possibilities that could exist between them. Her dominate personality is exactly what this story needs considering that she is accusing him of being the office Romeo. I liked the story and will be seeing what else Kris Eton is writing.
