Josette Monier is an amazing seer and a legend among the Sazi. For all that she’s feared, stalked, and endangered every single time she has a vision. She has the power to see the past, present, and future, sometimes all at once. This valuable skill is what has kept her from a ‘normal’ life and from love. She had it in her grasp for a very long time, but then Rick died. Or so she thought. With a dangerous spell draining the powers and very lives from their leaders, Josette is forced into action and finds herself face to face with a ghost from her past.

Rick could not handle his gifts any longer and faked his death and hid in a rustic cabin where he could ignore the world around him. With the power to feel what someone else was feeling as well as project his own feelings; Rick needed quiet, both aurally and emotionally to learn to better control himself. When the only woman he ever loved is targeted by a mysterious evil, he comes out of retirement and tries to ignore the pain he caused those many years ago.

These two lovers are reunited in time to face an evil that may destroy the Sazi as a whole.

The sixth book in the Sazi Chronicles, Timeless Moon takes us into the lives of some of the Sazi legends. Josette is a true legend, her powers and antics are bandied about every time that the Sazi gather. Both awed and feared she is apart from the rest of the Sazi and is one heck of an impressive character. While Rick seemed selfish in the beginning you really grew to like and respect him as the book went on. Cameos of favorite characters from the other five Sazi books were great. I enjoyed this book and am truly intrigued to see where C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp are going next with this awesome series. Mingling magic and suspense, Timeless Moon is the perfect book to while away a weekend with.
