Heat of the Night by Sylvia Day is the second book in The Dream Guardians series.

My first word after reading this book was WOW! Ms. Day is truly a master at grabbing the reader’s attention from the first page and holding it throughout the story with her multifaceted storyline and scorching hot characters.

Conner is not your typical alpha male, he’s much, much more than you could ever hope for and Stacey more than holds her own with her intelligent and sassy comebacks. When these two come together it is passionate, sensual and down right explosive, making it nearly impossible to put the book down.

Heat of the Night is a fabulous story that I urge readers to pre-order, it will be well worth the wait! As for me, I’m off to read the first book in this series, Pleasures of the Night that I’m embarrassed to say has been sitting in my TBR pile since May without me realizing just how much I was missing.
