Nathan can’t believe that he once again got talked into going to Tom’s home for a party. Tom’s girlfriend, Cindy, has a history of setting him up with the worst losers imaginable. Nathan assumed once he was an adult he would be out playing the field every night raising hell, but somehow it didn’t end up that way. All Nathan wants is a boy friend to come home to, but he has yet to meet that special someone. Cindy’s date for Nathan leaves much to be desired, but when Nathan is leaving he runs into, and I mean literally, an old friend and one time flame, Wes. They knew each other in high school and had a crushed on one another, but they were together only one time before graduation and never got around to talking about their true feelings. Nathan realizes that Wes is who he has been looking for all these years. Wes appears both eager and hesitant to reopen their relationship. What could be standing in their way and will Nathan and Wes find a means to explore their feeling for each other?

Ms. Snyder has created a wonderful story with two very powerful men caught in a situation that is very realistic. Nathan unconsciously searched for what he once had, but now that he found Wes again he will do what ever he can to help Wes become the man he truly is. Wes has been controlled for so long; he has a hard time realizing and fighting for what he desires. Together Wes and Nathan generate enough heat to burn away the past and maybe create a future full of love and laughter. Thanks go to Ms. Snyder for an inspiring story.
