Souls Night by Kallysten is an erotic paranormal story.

Mierna isn’t afraid. She is determined to meet her goal, but first she must go into the woods and find a weapon. This is the only way she can become a warrior which she has wanted for as long as she can remember, even though it is Souls Night and the forest is supposed to be alive with spirits on this night. Mierna sees a shadow and without thinking she throws her spear and to her surprise she hits someone, Elden. Elden is one of the last vampires that survived the Great Death, and they were protectors of the village. After Mierna asks Elden he gives her a weapon, but Mierna soon learns that no one is willing to train her at home. She takes matters into her own hands and goes to Elden with a proposition- fighting lessons in exchange for blood, similar to the old pack with the village. Will Elden take Mierna up on her deal or will their agreement come to mean so much more?

Kallysten has created a story with mystery, action, and heart that will satisfy any reader. Mierna is a strong willed woman who is willing to go to whatever means to obtain her dream. The idea of Elden waiting for the end to come reminds us of the loss that everyone experiences during life, but Mierna breathes life into Elden just by her presence and refusal to give up. The growing love between Elden and Mierna is beautiful to behold in its simplicity. In the end, this story reminds us of the resilience and persistence of human nature.
