Tumbling Through Time

Persephone, Seph for short, Pyle business woman, aspiring author, and conservative to the max, jets away on a business trip with colleague, Tom Fraser. Tom is everything Seph might hope for if she was the type of woman to approach a man, which she wasn’t. It just was not proper to date a coworker. There were no rules about lusting or writing a character similar to him though.

While awaiting their flight, Seph finds a pair of shoes, and when she dons the pink stilettos she lands in 1706 instead of the hotel in Italy. Not only is she in another time period, but a story that she may be responsible for creating. Phillip Drummond, Drum, seems to be the 1706 version of Tom, and he’s in trouble.

Meanwhile, Seph finally figures out that to travel she needs the shoes and some sort of bodily contact with either Drum or Tom. Seph’s dreams of being with Tom just may come true…if they can help Drum and not get killed in the process.

Gwyn Cready is as creative as she is unique in her debut novel. Tumbling Through Time is a wonderful escape through time and history. The romance and comical, loveable characters are perfection. Hilariously funny one-liners make for a fast satisfying read. I’m not sure which genre to place Tumbling through Time, comedy, chick lit, historical, time travel or mystery? Ms. Cready covers it all! I’d love to read more adventures of Seph and Tom. If you aren’t hip on time travel don’t be hesitant to try Tumbling Through Time because one thing is certain, it is definitely romance at it’s best!
