Moon Fever
Four stories that will take you on exciting journeys you will not soon forget. Each of these stories had excitement, mystery and to-die-for men.
Tempting Fate by Susan Sizemore was a fast-paced story. I liked the attraction that spanned 10 years, from teen to adult, but I would have liked a little more interaction between them during the ten years apart from their initial meeting and the erotic dreams she began having. Jonathan was a sweet, but passionate lover. I loved the part when she confronts him about her dreams and pregnancy. It was a laugh out loud moment.
The Darkness Within by Maggie Shayne was a great story. The mystery kept me guessing, and I didn't know who was behind the woman's murder until the end. There was great suspense, lots of twists and turns and passion that was hot, hot, hot. I loved this story. It was nice to read about an older woman/younger man instead of the typical combination. Jimmy was sexy and fun. The thirteen years between them didn't make a difference to him, and I liked his determination to convince Caroline what he felt was real.
Cobwebs Over the Moon by Lori Handeland gave a new perspective on werewolves. The typical story does not let us see the human behind the eyes in the werewolves. Carly had no trouble looking into the eyes of the wolves and knowing who each one was. Dylan was a quick thinker and prepared for every happening, except how to keep his hands off Carly. I wouldn't mind letting this hot, sexy man keep me warm on a cold, winter night.
Crazy for the Cat by Caridad Pineiro took us to the deep jungles of the Amazon. The description of the forest took me there. I could envision the heat, the thickness and the underlying danger. Jessica kept her goal in sight as she tried to understand her mixed feelings for Javier. She was scared, but attracted, and you could feel the tension between them. The sizzle between them was hotter than the jungle.
Whether vampires, werewolves, shaper-shifters or ghosts. All the stories drew you in and kept you there every step of the way. All great stories.
