A Walk After Dark was another enjoyable escape by Kirra Pierce. We meet Raphael of the Clan Marcus and Miranda a healer. Raphael is returning to the Brethren stronghold with information on the Ravers, but he has been away to long and needs sustenance to hold his beast at bay.

This was book two in her Brethren series and brings back as secondary characters Cassandra, Ty and Cyn whom I fell in love with in A Walk In The Woods.

Kirra Pierce has a mighty pen and her female characters shine with strength and courage and also the empathy needed to love a Brethren.Ms. Pierce’s male characters are bold and charismatic, yummy alpha wolves I’d like for my own.

Ms. Pierce’s plot continues the storyline of A Walk In The Woods but she has expanded her world greatly. We meet many new characters and learn about the accord between the Brethren and Humans.

A Walk After Dark can be read by itself, but if you do you’re missing out. These stories have wonderful shapeshifters with a believable plot and lots of sensuality; they are sizzling, so sit in front of the A/C or have a fan handy. A Walk After Dark is a must read and Kirra Pierce is on my auto buy list.
