Francine On Fire

When Francine met Heicke in Germany, she didn’t expect to fall for him and have her heart broken all in the same trip. The heat between them was instantaneous and trying to ignore it was like not seeing the bull in the china shop. But when Heicke’s ex-wife shows up, Francine decides to go on to Italy and finish the job she started out to do before she got side tracked. Francine didn’t want to fall in love with Heicke, especially since he was younger than she was and he lived in Germany while she lived in the US. She now wants forever, but she knows he’s only a player and not ready to settle down. It’s time for her to get her mind back on her job and forget him, but can she?

Heicke can’t believe he’s finally met the one woman he wants to spend his life with and now he has to deal with his ex-wife knowing that Francine didn’t understand. Finding out that Francine has gone to Italy, he follows her only to see her with another man laughing and looking like she’s forgotten he even existed. Can he make her realize that they belong together, not just for a while but forever, or has he lost her?

Ms. Taylor has written a story that takes the reader on a journey of the love between an older woman and her insecurities and the younger man who doesn’t see age at all. The two characters are intriguing in not only the developing relationship but in their own personal growth. The supporting casts of characters are just as interesting and flesh out the story to bring a delightful tale of love, sexual heat, and friendships to the enjoyment of the readers. When an author can describe a city or country and make the reader feel as if they are there, that is a good story teller, and Ms. Taylor certainly doesn’t disappoint. She brings the story to life with not only her descriptions of Germany and Italy, but also with her characters.
