Dante Lotton is an Alpha gene carrier and is on the run from the Terran authorities. He escapes and ends up in the Saint Valentine Pleasure Academy. While in hiding he is spotted by the High Priestess and things spiral even more out of control. Not only is he wanted by the authorities he is now wanted by the High Priestess.

Sophia Rousseau, the High Priestess of Saint Valentine, trains pleasure slaves of both sexes. When she sees Dante she has to have him. Not only does he turn her on but she recognizes him as an Alpha-carrier like herself. But she isn’t the only one who wants Dante and she has a fight on her hands.

I loved, loved, loved this book. Sophia was just as strong a character as Dante and fights for what she wants. Dante was hot and sexy and definitely an alpha male in every sense of the word. The writing flowed and the story was well constructed. I love paranormal romances and when you throw in erotica I’m hooked. The sex scenes were hot and enticing and fit within the story with no jarring discontinuity. With Sophia being a pleasure slave trainer there were a lot of them and there was plenty of other action going on as well. I’m a big fan of Lacey Savage but I have to say that Flame of the Alpha quickly became one of my favorite reads by her. I can’t wait for more!
