Seduction is Forever

Emily Redgrave is one of the few ladies among the ton who is part of an elite group of Master spies. After a few months furlough due to an injury, she has finally received her first assignment. She practically had to beg her superior officer for the job, but now she is determined to prove to everyone that she is still able to do it to the best of her ability. Now she is to keep Grant Ashbury from any danger he might have unknowingly placed himself in without letting him know that he is her assignment. However Grant Ashbury is not who he seems. Unbeknownst to Emily, Grant is also a spy who was injured on the job. Now he is out to prove that he is still one of the elite spies the government has even if that means doing a tedious job first to work his way back up, which is exactly how he sees his current assignment of keeping Emily Redgrave from any dire situations. With both out to “protect” the other and both being very good spies, it isn’t long before they figure out what is going on, but also find themselves in the middle of what could be a dangerous plot. Can these two work together to prove themselves while fighting the attraction that has blossomed between them?

Jenna Petersen has given readers the third installment of the Lady Spies series, and it will truly seduce your senses. Emily is not a woman to let things get in her way especially when she wants something. Getting her reputation back is what she wants and when she came upon the plot, one could almost feel the wheels turning in her head on how she could best prove to the agency that she could handle any situation while still dealing with the fears that her injuries caused. Grant is a true hero dealing with the same emotions as Emily, and I think Ms. Petersen did a wonderful job creating a hero and heroine who could relate to one another while both helping the other earn back their reputation to their superiors. Readers will enjoy this romp into the life of spies during the Regency times.
