The second book in the series (the first being Feral Domination), Feral Lust, is Riza Valde’s story. Riza, the sister of Gionne who is head of the wolf pack, falls in lust and love with Leon Muldrew, the alpha male of the feline pack, who also happens to be her brother-in-law.

Once again, Ms Day has penned another winner. Leon, despite being an alpha and a playboy, is surprisingly sensitive to Riza’s feelings of inadequacy being born a half-breed. It made me like him instantly. I especially love how tenderly he treats Riza throughout the book.

Leon’s and Riza’s relationship is one of friendship with their underlying lust for each other simmering just below the surface. When they do give in to their lusts, their erotic encounters (and they are many, and satisfying), are hot enough to singe my hard drive.

So even though I did not read the first story, readers will find, like me, that they have no trouble following the story as it can stand alone.

From the author’s website, it looks like she’s going to give Dirk a story of his own. I can’t wait to read it as he’s one sexy wolf.

Readers should be warned that this book contains one instance of ménage a trios, one instance of group sex, and anal sex.
