From the moment that Kat Hardee saw her new “nerdy” neighbor, she has been having wet dreams about him and trying to figure out how to get closer to him. Unfortunately, she mentions this to a neighbor who lives on the other side of gorgeous Taye Connors who would like to add him to her people on her bedposts. Kat just knows that underneath the blazers that he wears the guy is hiding the body of a Greek god and takes the neighbor up on the dare to see him naked. The friend wants Taye for herself, but Kat says that if she sees him naked then she has to back off and Kat will have him all to herself. Fortunately for Kat, she wins the bet and has the best night of sex in her life, but the problem comes when she talks in her sleep and Taye finds out about the bet. Will he like knowing that the woman he has been lusting after since the moment he saw her only wanted him to win a bet?

I fell in love with these two people right from the start of the book, and it grew in spades as the book progressed. The book was contemporary, the heroine sold sex toys, and it had to be the hottest story I have ever read. The characters were very well developed in such a hot read and there was no doubt that there would be a happy ending for the characters.

Parlor Games
Matt Crewe is a writer who plans to publish a book about exclusive sex clubs in the modern world. He is lucky that he was selected to have his body bided on for the charitable auction that the money will go toward because being bidding on and doing the bidding are the only two ways to get into the club. He sees the woman of his dreams before he even gets to the mansion, the woman is all lush curves, and he is able to meet her before they enter the building. Carrie MacLean feels the instant connection that Matt does so she is looking for him while the men are getting to know the women before the bidding starts. The connection that they feel spirals out of control the second they touch during this meeting until they are both so aroused that Carrie must bid and have Matt for the weekend. Carrie is also a writer except she is a newspaper journalist who is trying to find out what exactly is going on at Perdition House. She doesn’t believe the fact that all proceeds from the sale’s are charitable, and this story will be the one that will make her a hard hitting journalist.

This may have been the hottest story of the book because Perdition House is a house full of erotic mystery that has yet to be solved, and I’ve already decided that I’ll be reading more of this author to discover the final outcome of this story. There is a part of the story where the heroine has to describe to the hero what is happening to her body, and it will send you to attack your partner or have you running for the nearest vibration. This story is worth every penny you will pay for the book.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Thong
Francesca Volpe is yacht sitting for a friend and needs to get a diamond thong out of the safe for her sister. Once she gets it out she turns around to discover that the cute little mutt that she has been talking to for the past few days grabs it and runs. She chased him and looked all over the park and still cannot find it, now she must find the thong without letting anyone know that it’s real diamonds in it. Once she returns to the yacht she sees the dog and is able to discover its owner is the disc jockey whose voice she listens to every night on the local blues station, Daniel Martin. He sets her heart pounding with the blues that he plays, and she is in love with his mesmerizing voice from the moment that she heard it while listening to the radio between midnight and four in the morning. Daniel Martin considered himself to be the luckiest person alive when Francesca inquired about the dog who had “stolen” the thong. He wanted to get to know her better from the second that he saw her on the boat which was parked just a few slips from his houseboat. Luckily they both seemed to want to extend the getting to know each other better period to a new intimate level after the thong has been safely found and put back in the safe. Unfortunately, Francesca is hiding something from Daniel. When the people that have been looking for her find her, and her secrets has been revealed will the bond that they have formed be strong enough to hold them together or will they be torn apart?

The mystery and suspense in this story is not to be missed. I tried and tried to break the mystery but never could manage to do it. This story is the perfect ending for a perfect anthology by one of the hottest authors that I have ever read, Bonnie Edwards.

This is without a doubt the hottest and the sexiest book that I have ever read. Each story made its way without any help from any of the other stories and each one of them was hot in and of itself. This is the first Aphrodisia and the first Bonnie Edwards book that I have, but I loved both of them and I’ll be looking for more of both of them. Parlor Games, with the story of Perdition House, probably is my favorite book because it’s a continuing mystery, and I want to see the final outcome of that book. I would definitely recommend this book, but I would recommend that you grab your partner or your nearest vibration when you finish it because you’re going to need it. Great job Ms. Edwards.
