World Enough and Time

World Enough and Time by J.M. Snyder is a homoerotic sci-fi romance.

All you see is salt everywhere, salt in the water and falling out of the sky. It is permeating everything, and it seems without end. At least that is what Allen thinks. He is about to give up and just wait for the end. His boyfriend is scum, and there is nothing else in his life that is worth while. Allen stays home from work, and when he does some shopping he gets the surprise of his life. In the store, Allen sees the most beautiful man in the world, Ricky, but he gets scared off when he sees the gun Ricky is carrying. An unforeseen and dangerous incident propels Allen and Ricky together, and this may be their final chance to catch happiness before the end of time. Will Ricky and Allen have a chance to find the love they have been missing or will fate keep them apart forever?

Ms. Snyder has created a compelling and chilly story that is all too plausible in today’s society. Many groups have preached about the end of the world, but the thought of salt falling out of the shy is definitely a scary idea. Allen and Ricky have given up hope until they meet one another and suddenly they find something to live for. Even though they think their time is short they want to spend each and every moment to the fullest, pleasuring each other. Thanks go to Ms. Snyder for another look into a future where in spite of circumstance, the human spirit is unbeatable.
