Penny Sizemore heard a knock at her door. Thinking it was the Fed EX man she opened it without looking. A masked man wearing a parka pushed his way into her apartment. Penny saw that his coat pocket was pointed at her. He had a gun. Penny was awed that a man was wearing a parka in 100 degree weather. He demanded to know if she was Penny Sizemore. After telling him she was, he told her he was going to destroy her. Penny didn’t know what to think or say, so she just kept her cool and asked him why? The masked man looked at Penny and ushered her into her dining room. Wow was he surprised at what found. Suddenly a phone rang and the man took out a phone that was in his pocket. When he answered he said his name, Gordon. Now Penny had a name to go with the voice. When Gordon hung up he looked at Penny and told her that his girlfriend left him and he was laid off all because of her. Penny didn’t know what to think. What could she have done to cause this man to lose his job and girlfriend? Could she fix the problem?

Wired for Love by Amber Polo is a story that will have you laughing and wondering what will happen next. I was smiling all the way through the story at some of the things that Gordon said and did to get back at Penny. This is a great story and Ms. Polo will keep you reading with a twist in the story that will surprise you.
