Breaking Becky

When Dr. William Keene dismisses Becky without so much as an apology, ending their affair and replacing her with another woman, she gets angry. Becky storms back to her new office and finds an old flame, Jack, waiting for her. They rekindle their relationship instantly and suddenly the good doctor doesn’t seem nearly as important as he did only a couple of minutes before. Jack and Becky have a chemistry she hasn’t found with anyone else. And Jack? He’s the kind of guy who refuses to take “no” for an answer when he wants something.

Breaking Becky is short, hot and sexy. It is a well written story, with complex characters whose sexuality isn’t at all hidden. William Keene seems a bit shallow but then I believe he’s supposed to be. The sex in this isn’t vanilla and could make some readers uncomfortable. Becky doesn’t take her pleasure in a romantic, flowery way and some of the sex is rough. If that is your pleasure, Breaking Becky will be very satisfying. Ms. Blacque is a talented writer whose characters come to life instantly. The heat between Jack and Becky sizzles but she doesn’t lose sight of the plot. I had no idea how this would turn out for Becky until the very end. The ending actually made me laugh out loud, it was so appropriate to this story. Well done, Ms. Blacque! Breaking Becky is unforgettable!
