Lacey Thorn has another fantastic success with Fanning Her Flames; this is book two in the Island Guardian series.

Farrah is a few weeks away from her 21st birthday, her aunt Asme; princess and last of the Mahiki line, asks her to visit. Her aunt advises her of a plot against her by the Latoni warriors and tells her she must leave and begin searching for another Guardian in the villages to the North, for Farrah too is a Guardian, her affinity is for fire and she and the others must begin training together.

Alexi, Marcus and Bannen, brothers of the Donan clan, are of the fire caste, they recognize Farrah is of their caste by the red top she wears. Alexi and Marcus come across Farrah in her search for the Guardian, they see a woman alone, with no protector, their attraction is immediate and they decide to claim her immediately.

Fanning Her Flames, book two of the Island Guardian series, was marvelous. This book can be read as a stand alone, but you would be missing out if you did. The women are aware of their unique gifts and the responsibilities that go along with them. The men are yummy alpha’s and so happy to have found their heart’s desire. Lacey Thorn has a gift and I am thrilled she has shared it with us. I am anxiously waiting for Willow’s story in Island Guardian, book three.
