Maggie was late to the marriage mart at nineteen and her mother has always been concerned about everyone else’s opinion. Needless to say; Maggie has always been a disappointment to her, until she attracted Phillip and Jonathan’s attention.

Phillip and Jonathan meet Maggie during her third trip though the marriage mart. Both men become infatuated with her and their feelings continue to grow. Phillip and Jonathan have been friends for a long time; from boarding school and through the war, they have depended on each other and each has saved the other’s life more than once.

Jonathan and Phillip agree that Phillip will marry Maggie if she’ll accept him. He has the respectable family and a name that needs an heir. While both had lost their parents early in life, Phillip still has some family left. The pair is known as the Beauty and the Beast to the ton, with Jonathan as the beast because of his dark looks in comparison to Phillip’s angelic blondness.

Samantha Kane has written one hot novel in Love Under Siege, the second in the Brothers in Arms series. This is not for the faint of heart. The sex is hot with mild spanking and some M/M happenings. Be prepared to fall in love, these men need Maggie to make them whole, and what I wouldn’t give to be Maggie. And yet Maggie must learn to live a new way, out of the norm for her, she rises to the challenge because what else can she do with love for both Phillip and Jonathan in her heart. They release the woman she was meant to be. This is the first Brothers in Arms novel I have read but it won’t be my last. I will be grabbing the first and third as fast as I can click. Love Under Siege was definitely a stand alone novel, but now I’ve met some other Brothers in Arms and I have got to read their story! Excellent Ms. Kane. Excellent.
