If you love red hot westerns, you will surely love A Widow’s Justice by S.D. Grady. Abigail and Dusty set the pages on fire as they each bring that extra “something” they both have been searching for.

Abigail needs help. Her husband, Henry went for supplies three weeks ago, and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Thanks to the last storm, her sheep have run off, her barn is in shambles and there is no one to help her but her faithful sheep dog. Despite the hardship and uncertainty Abigail puts one foot in front of the other and sets out to find what sheep she can. On a particular day, she meets up with Dusty Johannsen, who is one of a group of men transporting good to nearby Ennis. He helps her to round up her sheep and uncover her husband’s murder. Dusty may be a godsend to Abigail or he may be one of the marauders, how can she tell? Though her heart tells her one thing, her head tells her to be wary.

A Widow’s Justice is a story of two broken individuals who find love and completion with each other. Dusty and Abigail are admirable and very likeable characters who found a way into this reader’s heart. They are intelligent, strong willed, brave and passionate. When the pair comes together it is explosive, causing a slow burn that lasts throughout the book. S.D. Grady’s descriptive powers put this reader right in 1860’s Montana with all of its hardships and lawlessness. The numerous plot twists kept the story exciting; from beginning to end, A Widow’s Justice never bogged down in any respect. For fans who love a sensual and fast paced western romance, S.D. Grady has written a story it is easy to recommend.
