Leilani wants her new neighbor, Oliver, but he does not seem to notice her. She has done everything she can think to do to get him to notice her but still nothing. Leilani decides the summer is too hot to spend all of her time focused on Oliver when he does not want her. Having Oliver catch her taking a dip in his pool, puts Leilani in a bad spot. A spot that she hopes Oliver will take full advantage of.

Oliver, a police detective, has gotten into trouble giving in to his desire for a beautiful woman. The gunshot wound in his leg is proof of that. Resisting Leilani is taking all of his willpower. Oliver would love nothing more than to take her up on her seductive offer, but he has taken a vow. Finding Leilani swimming in his pool without permission is his chance to punish the seductive trespasser to both of their satisfaction.

Skin to Skin is a charming tale of modern day romance. Ms. Galance has created two individuals who want a satisfying sex life and a great relationship. Leilani believes in going after what she wants and what she wants is Oliver. While trying to maintain a vow of celibacy, Oliver admits that he wants the luscious Leilani. The sexual chemistry between Leilani and Oliver is explosive before they even come together as the two constantly tempt one another. I enjoyed that while wanting to give into their physical desires both want more than just a sexual relationship. The character development is also enjoyable as Oliver and Leilani are interesting individuals whose pasts have shaped the people they have become.
