Black on Blonde

Serena Troy, an agent for the Sexual Misconduct Division, which is a branch of the Supernatural Enforcement Agency, located on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Her profession is to prevent supernatural beings from using their powers for sexual gratification on each other in addition to humans. Furthermore Serena happens to be an organic witch. Drake is Serena’s colleague, lover, and a changeling. Serena’s boss, Xavier, a vampire, fits the typical personification but with red hair. Frankie Troy works for the Violent Crimes Division and is cousin to Serena. Josh Quarter will be Serena’s new trainee. He is human.

Serena does not seem be fond of her new apprentice, especially given that he acts too human. Drake has a new case that he requires Serena’s help on. Several humans were put under a control spell. They were performing sexual acts on each other and two supernatural beings. They can’t let whoever is running the whole operation get away with it. This case just may be a little more than they can handle.

Cheryl Dragon, a master of erotic novels has worked her enchantment once more with Black on Blonde. The connection involving Drake and Serena was off the charts. I enjoyed Serena’s take charge approach she had when it came to men. If she sought after something or someone she would set out after it. Of course it wasn’t tough when you have a co-worker like Drake. He knew just how to give pleasure to a woman which is not a terrible thing. Belinda and Serena share something in common which was a surprise to me when I found out what it was they shared. This was a great book.
