Anna Beloit is attending another boring party when she throws her drink. It lands on a very sexy guy. He calls her by name and tells her that she is the woman of his dreams. Anna can’t believe that this guy would want her as she always attracts the boring ones. This mystery man asks Anna to join him on his yacht for some wine. She must be dreaming because these things only happen in the books she reads or her dreams. Anna asks the gentleman what his name is. He replies that it is Dominic. Dominic’s over six feet tall of hotness with black eyes that shine like diamonds. Dominic has been waiting patiently for Anna, since the day he spotted her in the bookstore. He finds out what her favorite books and music are, what guys she dated. Dominic knows Anna is a wild woman just waiting to come out. He seeks to be the one for her. Anna agrees to experience the night…and it would be nothing like she could ever dream of or find in one of her novels.

First off let me start be saying that Diamond Lady exceeded my expectations. Desiree Holt out did herself with this one. Diamond Lady is a definite 5 angel book. Dominic just oozes sex appeal. Even saying the name Dominic is scorching. Anna’s story proved that you can’t always believe those stories you hear about booksellers being uninteresting. Anna was anything but that. I thought Dominic finding out all the things Anna liked was sweet. I mean how many guys go out of their way to make sure they learn what a woman wants or needs? If you are in the mood for a sizzling hot novel then Diamond Lady is the book to read. This is my first Desiree Holt novel. I have to say it was a great choice.
