All That Ice
Sin City girl Amber Westing is none-too-happy when she discovers she is being sent to frigid Alaska to deal with environmental issues at one of her dad’s diamond mines—that is until she steps off the plane and on to the tarmac. Here she sees Craven Nioka for the first time, and her hesitation quickly thaws. But when he makes it abundantly clear he doesn’t want her there, her anger heats up to the boiling point.
The last thing Craven Nioka needs is a distraction—especially one of the long-legged, eyes of sin with a body to match kind. No way is she stepping foot in the mine his family has worked in for as long as he can remember. He sets out to put her tidy little butt on a plane back to Vegas as soon as is humanly possible. What he doesn’t expect is her resistance and his lack thereof where she is concerned.
All That Ice by J T Schultz is an entertaining read with bits of humor and intrigue peppered into the story. Ms. Shultz does a wonderful job with characterization. Our heroine is sexy, quirky and fun to hang around with. And our hero? Well, let’s just say you won’t need a coat in the cruelty of the Alaska winters with Craven by your side. The love scenes are passionate, moving and frequent—guaranteed to satisfy. All That Ice was a fun escape read.
