Children of the Triads 4: Sex Me Slow

Felicity Sorrel, an Amazonian warrior, and Storm Vanier have been sent on a mission to recover two kidnapped Amazonians. Part of their mission is to capture and terminate Helio, the Hienial who kidnapped them. Sent on this mission by Ryo Kneese, the leader of the halfbreed Hienial race, they never expected that their mission would become much more important to the future of Ryo’s people.

The fourth in the Children of the Triads series, Sex Me Slow continues where the events in Sex Me Replete left off. Felicity is an Amazonian woman who must reconcile herself to the fact that she has gone from being a woman who needs no man to a woman who suddenly can’t get enough of not one but two men. Sex Me Slow follows the pattern that Bonnie Rose Leigh and Tianna Xander have laid out in the previous books in the series and as has been shown before, they really can’t go wrong. While the characters and their relationships are important, the major plot focus is on their importance to the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy and the continuing mission of Ryo to save his people. The dynamics of the relationship between Felicity, Storm, and eventually Brandt were interesting since all where rather dominant personalities. I wasn't sure how it was going to work in the beginning, but I really should know by know that Bonnie Rose Leigh and Tianna Xander would make it work. One aspect that I really liked was that Sex Me Slow spent a lot of time focusing on the prophecy and the things that were necessary for it to be fulfilled as well as developing the relationships between the characters.
