A Matter of Deception was a non-stop read-fest for me—I couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. Many characters were introduced so quickly in the beginning it was somewhat difficult to keep up with them, but after the first few chapters I was able to organize them and continued to read. Boy, am I glad I did! It had everything! A forever kind of love, suspense, mystery…everything a girl could ask for.

Ms. Poff created characters that are warm and caring and I had to find out what was going to happen. Although Ms. Poff introduced the villain right away, I spent the whole book holding my breath waiting to see what he would do to Seneca and Adrienne and how they would overcome the odds that seemed impossible. Page after page there was something new. A Matter of Deception is a definite must read. I will be on the lookout for more books by this author!
