Fit to Be Tied

Richard Rayburn is caught between a rock and a hard place. It’s the eve of his twenty-fifth birthday and he will have to wed or lose the land that keeps his ranch thriving. But with a fiancée who just gave him the boot, Richard is scrambling for a Plan B.

Julia Blackburn is a widower. She’s known marriage and has no desire to know it again. Her husband’s death has left her frantically seeking a way to put food on the table. When all else fails the blue-eyed beauty devises a plan of action.

Fit to Be Tied is a story about two people desperate to find answers to their dilemmas, by hook or by crook. The characters are attracted to each other from the moment their eyes lock, but are unsure of what can truly develop. Richard isn’t shy of marriage, but he doesn’t want to be treated like a prized bull. I watched the indecision rolling off Julia like pouring rain. She refused to be another man’s bed warmer without having the love and security she deserves. But the feelings Richard invoked were undeniable. I hope we are fortunate enough to have Richard’s little brother Stephen return with his own story. Myla Jackson brings us a delightful western with an erotic twist. Those who enjoy the genre will not be disappointed by Fit to Be Tied.
