Lassoed

Diana McTavish is out of rehab and ready to take control of her life. She doesn’t want to be a submissive again; on the receiving end of punishment like that tolled out by her ex-Master. Diana has decided to be a Domme, and while this role is suited for some, it will fail to give Diana the release created when she could trust to be dominated.

Matt Rogers has known Diana since they were young and has been made privy to the knowledge of the torment and torture dished out by her former master. Now Matt is ready to claim the woman he loves. He wants to erase her pain and suffering and fill Diana’s life with love, security, and happiness.

Lassoed shows us that you don’t always need a sundae for dessert when a scoop of vanilla is available to soothe your sweet tooth. Diana grew up submerged in the BDSM lifestyle, so it was no surprise that she would retain some of it in her adult years. Watching her move past the abuse and reclaim herself as a woman was inspiring. I couldn’t help but respect Diana as she faced her past and allowed love to enter her heart and home. Matt is the kind of man that makes a woman too weak to flee. He’s powerful of mind and body, but with the same toss of the coin a gentle giant. Seeing the woman he loved hurting caused an ache that could only be overcome by supplying her happiness and fulfilling her dreams. Lassoed is the third book of the Heart of the West series. I’ll be the first to admit, this series has been one of my favorites. Watching each of the McTavish siblings overcome obstacles and find secure loving relationships has been encouraging. Lassoed is a story about love, commitment, family and most of all learning self-worth. It’s about taking responsibility for your decisions in life and not allowing life’s pains to dampen your spirit. It’s about identifying your needs and asserting yourself to claim them. It’s a story about true love. Ms. Jacobs has delivered yet another remarkable story.
