Must Love Dogs

The plague of 2010 annihilated most of the human population. The paranormal population has been welcomed by some but not all. There are those both human and paranormal who feel strongly about mixing the races.

Veronica “Roni” Engelmann is a crossbreed were-dog thanks to her Siberian Husky mother and Chihuahua father. Her search for love usually ends in obedience lessons for her suitors. Thanks to her best friend, Ana, Roni has taken her hut to a new leave and the outcome is her meeting Corbin.

Corbin Thorn is a thirty-three year old pure werewolf Alpha pretending to be a human. He is in constant pursuit by werewolf females hoping to become his Alpha Bitch. But what he really wants is a woman who can love him regardless of his title and wealth.

Corbin and Roni will have to deal with meddling parents that could end their love affair before it’s begun.

Must Love Dogs is book one in the Night Critters series.

Lena Austin and Tuesday Richards have created a humorous canine version of Romeo & Juliet. I loved Roni’s quick wit. She’s beautiful inside and out and longs for the security of a loving man. Corbin is the man you can’t help but lust after. Not only equipped with good looks, but he’s playful and proves that chivalry isn’t dead. The sex between these two was passionate and consuming. I especially enjoyed the fact that the both got over not being told the entire truth without bickering for days. The chemistry was perfectly blended; the characters were strong and overall helped create a marvelously written book. Those who love Lena Austin and Tuesday Richards will find Must Love Dogs to be a well worth the read.
