It’s even better when you find yourself laughing as well. Annmarie McKenna delivers a great quick read, perfect for when your time is short and you need a break. Even with the length, Ms. McKenna has no difficulty making the characters three dimensional or the sex hot and sticky. Add a little intrigue and a couple of laughs and you’ve got one great little read that you’ll want to read again and again. If you’re after something to take your mind off the real world for a while then grab a copy of Between A Ridge And A Hard Place and find a comfy corner and enjoy. You’ll be glad that you did.
