Nature’s Pentacle

When a sexual rite to heal the earth goes better than expected and a fellow witch outs all involved in the rite, Matt and Lena are forced to flee. But the vigilantes are the least of their worries. A rogue witch determined to bring all witches out into the open is far more dangerous.

Lena and Matt’s attraction only deepens in spite of his connection to Kenji. And when the three witches entwine it’s not only their bodies involved. In one explosive night they’ll join in a display of power and passion that will connect them forever. With the need for another pentacle rite and the threat to all witches from Jaimis they’ll need all their powers to come out alive.

Nature’s Pentacle is an intense read. Filled with magic and sex this book is one explosive page after another. Eden Rivers has penned a tale of lust, greed and magic with a deeper emotional impact than expected. My lack of Wiccan knowledge at times had me a little overwhelmed but didn’t detract from the story at all. I found myself thirsting for this new knowledge with every turn of the page. The depth to this book is amazing and even with the terms I wasn’t familiar with it was more than a satisfactory read. The sexual rites and other magic were more than adequately explained and took me into a world so far outside any other I’d read about that I couldn’t put it down. The sex is more than hot and leaves you sweating. But the emotional connection made between the three main characters has just as big an impact. When a fourth witch enters the triangle you would expect things to rapidly turn into a tragedy, but Ms. Rivers proves us wrong by weaving this fourth into the fabric of the relationship of the other three. It’s hard to make a threesome work at the best of times without having something upsetting the balance but Ms. Rivers has made her characters so three dimensional and their characteristics so complimentary that you don’t expect them to be anywhere but together. With the sex as nontraditional as it gets this book is not for the faint hearted but it’s also not there just for the sake of making the book hot. Each encounter has an emotional connection that binds them and moves the story forward. With the end of the book the way it was there are obviously more books in the pipeline and I can’t wait to get my hands on them.
